Sochi has always been and for the most part is still a summer resort which means that there are hundreds of smaller and bigger restaurants in summer. What I want to concentrate on is that local people go to eat too and not only during high season. There are some restaurants that have shown their staying power - they operate all year round, have their permanent staff and of course regular customers.

It would be naïve of me to give you advice to visit a place to eat where I have never eaten myself. I think it’ll be fare to tell you about my experiences of “eating out” in Sochi.
